Egg sunny side up on a parmesan galette

 

Hello there, we have been trying to change our presentation a bit to make our dishes look more sophisticated. Tell us what you think! Today’s recipe is a quick and easy egg recipe perfect for sunday brunch. It is an interesting mix of savers and textures. The crackly parmesan galette to the gooey egg yolk makes this really delicious!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • A couple branches of dill herb
  • Olive oil

 

In a pan at high heat sprinkle evenly the grated parmesan cheese. Heat for a couple of minutes until a sort of parmesan biscuit has formed. Remove from heat and let rest a couple of minutes. Remove from pan. Return pan to heat and oil with olive oil. Then crack an egg open and cook for a couple of minutes.

In a large plate cut the parmesan “galette” into a large circle. Remove egg from burner. Cut the egg into a smaller circle and place on the parmesan galette.  Add dill herb, sprinkle with olive oil and serve.
